আসুন আজ সুন্দর জীবনধারনের জন্য কিছু জানি। আমাদের জীবন প্রতিনিয়ত কিছু না কিছু দক্ষতার দ্বারা প্রভাবিত হয়।হার্ড স্কিলস এবং সফট স্কিলস দুইটাই আমাদের জীবনকে অনেক বেশি সুন্দর আর সাফল্যময় গড়ে তুলতে সাহায্য করে।হার্ড স্কিলস যেগুলো বলতে আমরা সাধারণত কর্মদক্ষতা,প্রাতিষ্টানিক দক্ষতাকে বুঝি।কিন্তু সফট স্কিলস বলতে বুঝায় পারিপাশ্বিক পরিবেশের সাথে নিজেকে মানিয়ে নেওয়ার যে দক্ষতা তাকে।
সুন্দর জীবন যাপনের জন্য আমাদের হার্ড স্কিলস এবং সফট স্কিলস দুইটাই প্রয়োজন।একটাকে ছাড়া অন্য আরেকটি মূল্যহীন। যেমন অনেকটা মুদ্রার এপিঠ আর ওপিঠ।
সফট স্কীলস যে জীবনের জন্য কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তার একটা উদাহারণ দেওয়া যাক।।।।
একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান তাদের কোম্পানিতে কর্মী নিয়োগ দিবে। নিয়োগকারী কর্মকর্তাগন তাদের আগ্রহী প্রর্থীদের থেকে কর্মদক্ষতা এবং প্রতিষ্ঠানিক দক্ষতার বিবরণ সংগ্রহ করলো এবং সে সকল যোগ্যতা অনুযায়ী কর্মী নিয়োগও করলো।বেশ কিছু দিন ভালো ভাবে কর্মদিবস চলতে লাগলো কিন্ত কিছুদিন পরে কর্মীদের মধ্যে বিশৃঙ্খলা দেখা দিল। কর্মীরা উদ্বতনদের নির্দেশনা মানছে না যার কারণে কোম্পানি সুনাম ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্চে।।

২/ প্রয়োজনীয় প্রাসঙ্গিক কথা: সফট স্কীলস অর্জনের জন্য সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হচ্চে প্রয়োজনে কথা বলা।কথা বলার চাইতে বেশি শুনতে হবে।অপ্রাসঙ্গিক কথা বলা থেকে বিরত থাকতে হবে

An organization will hire employees in their company. Recruiting officers collect details of their interested candidates about work skills and organizational skills and hire workers based on those qualifications. The work day went on well for a few days but after a few days chaos broke out among the workers. Employees do not obey the instructions of the newcomers due to which the reputation of the company is damaged.
So what went wrong??
The mistake is the employer's indifference to the soft skills of the employees.
What are soft skills and why are they important?
In 2019, LinkedIn's Global Talent Trends reported that 92% of talent acquisition professionals indicated that soft skills are as important to recruiting as hard skills. And 89% said that when a new hire wasn't effective, it was because they lacked critical soft skills.
Focusing on a candidate's hard skills—skills that are measurable and directly related to the job they'll be performing—may seem more natural. After all, managers and team members alike will expect that a new hire can do the job they were hired to do. However, acquiring soft skills is just as important.
Soft skills affect how employees collaborate with their teams. Ultimately will play a role in an employee's success because every employee has to work with other people in some capacity, whether it's a manager, a client, or a colleague.
Just as you are diligent when making sure a candidate has the appropriate hard skills and technical experience for a role, it is important to apply the same diligence to assess a candidate's soft skill set. That way, they are set up for success when they arrive. You can find the most talented graphic designer in town, but if they don't get very good feedback, they are almost useless to the company.
Mastering this element of talent acquisition can save your company thousands of dollars and countless hours of training, reducing employee turnover.
Training a new employee is demanding and time-consuming. It disrupts a team's daily operations, productivity, and rhythm. So it's a waste of time, a drain on energy, and a disgruntled group forced to pick up the slack until a replacement arrives.

How do I improve my soft skills?
We need to focus on at least 5 things to develop our soft skills.
1/Speaking posture: Our speaking posture should be beautiful and elegant. The speech should be understandable and clear to the listener.
2/ Necessary relevant talk: The most important thing to acquire soft skills is to talk when necessary. Listen more than talk. Avoid irrelevant talk.
3/ Not getting distracted by danger: It is very important to keep a cool head at all times. Must acquire the ability to keep a cool head in danger or any adverse situation
4/ Body Language: Nice and polite body language while speaking can create a good interest in you in the mind of the listener.
5/ Good clothes: Good, tasteful clothes can create a good impression of you in people's minds which will make people interested in you and want to listen to you.
All in all, the importance of our soft skills is immense. Use soft skills in your family, workplace, and society and you will see that life will be wonderful and meaningful.
